Ceyear 1465-V Series Signal Generator

1465-V series signal generators has excellent vector modulation performance within the frequency range of 100 kHz to 67GHz. It has 1GHz internal modulation bandwidth and 2GHz external modulation real-time bandwidth, which can meet various modulation needs of wideband signals. The generator has excellent spectrum purity and output power specifications. The phase noise of 10GHz carrier@10kHz frequency offset can be reached to -126dBc/Hz, to meet high-level test needs which have strict requirements of testing signals. The generator also has excellent vector modulation accuracy and at the full frequency range the EVM is less than 1.4% (4Msps), which makes the generator be used in metrology purpose. The baseband signal generator can be set easily with flexible performance and many modulation formats. More than 20 kinds of common modulation formats are supported, such as PSK, QAM, and FSK, ASK and so on. The arbitrary wave modulation support 5 kinds of download file format, users can edit and download the waveform according to their own requirement. Thus various signal modulation can be accomplished and complex signals can be generated. Besides,the airspace capsule operation interface design and 10.1 inch high-brightness touch screen can bring a brand-new operation experience to users.

With wide frequency band and modulation bandwidth, 1465-V series signal generator can not only provide user with analog and vector modulated signal with great spectrum purity and modulation types, but also can help user edit arbitrary waves flexibly. It’s an ideal choice for performance test of components, modules, communications, and other electronic systems.

1. Broad Frequency Range Coverage

  • Extensive Spectrum: It spans from 9 kHz up to 3 GHz / 6 GHz / 12 GHz / 20 GHz / 40 GHz depending on the specific hardware sub-model (e.g., 1435A through 1435F), providing wide flexibility for diverse test requirements.

2. High Power Output Capability

  • Strong Drive Level: Standard configurations yield powerful signals, and with the high-power option (H08) enabled, the instrument outputs full-band signals exceeding +20 dBm (up to +17 dBm on the 40GHz variant). This eliminates the need for an external amplifier in high-excitation testing environments.

  • Wide Dynamic Range: Delivers a vast output power control dynamic range exceeding 150 dB.

3. High Spectral Purity & Phase Noise Performance

  • Excellent SSB Phase Noise: Provides pristine spectral clarity. The standard SSB phase noise is evaluated at -104 dBc/Hz (6 GHz @ 10 kHz offset), while the low-phase-noise upgrade achieves levels down to -116 dBc/Hz to -120 dBc/Hz (at 6 GHz / 10 GHz with 10 kHz offsets), reducing interference margins during sensitive measurements.

4. Fast Frequency Switching

  • High Throughput Speed: Engineered for rapid automated testing, the unit boasts an extremely brief frequency switching time down to 0.67 ms, maximizing manufacturing line throughput.

5. Multi-Function Waveform & Modulation Generators

  • Analog Modulation: Supports a broad spectrum of native analog systems including AM, FM, $\Phi$M (Phase Modulation), and PM (Pulse Modulation).

  • Digital Modulation Capabilities: For vector variants (like the 1435-V), the baseband generator supports the real-time synthesis of universal digital formats in over 20 configurations, including PSK, QAM, FSK, and MSK.

  • Built-in Waves & Noise: Contains independent internal waveform engines capable of driving dual-tone configurations (Sine, Triangle, Square, Sawtooth, and Noise generators up to 10 MHz).

  • Pulse Modulator & Radar String: Yields an on/off pulse switch ratio greater than 80 dB with edge rise/fall times under 10 ns. It supports advanced gated/external triggering and custom pulse-string sequence outputs for radar testing.

6. Portable Ergonomics and Modern Interface

  • Compact Footprint: Built inside a space-saving 3U-high portable chassis, significantly slashing bulk and bench space requirement compared to standard rack instruments. Weights fluctuate lightly between 7.4 kg and 10.9 kg.

  • Smart UI Control: Features a front-facing 7-inch high-sensitivity LED touchscreen (800×480 resolution) loaded with a windowed menu structure. It also maintains traditional physical control knobs, keypad shortcuts, and inputs for external keyboards or mice.
