Enhanced Port & Signal Architecture

  • Up to 4 True Test Ports: Unlike the strictly 2-port DNA5000 models, the DNA6000 series offers 2-port or 4-port options (e.g., DNA6264, DNA6144). The 4-port models are critical for fully characterizing multi-port networks, balanced filters, differential amplifiers, and mixers simultaneously.

  • Broad Frequency Spectrum: Covers a wide range from 5 kHz up to 8.5 GHz, 14 GHz, 20 GHz, or 26.5 GHz depending on the specific model.

  • Ultra-Low Trace Noise: Upgraded hardware lowers the trace noise threshold to an exceptional 0.003 dB (typical), providing maximum measurement stability for sensitive components.

  • Wide Dynamic Range: Achieves a high typical dynamic range of 127 dB (>120 dB standard), ensuring sharp accuracy when checking high-suppression/high-rejection ratio devices.

  • Frequency Resolution & Output: Operates with a sharp 1 Hz frequency resolution and outputs signal levels up to +10 dBm.

Comprehensive Measurement & Analysis Tools

  • Full S-Parameter Analysis: Measures and charts key network properties, including amplitude/frequency characteristics, phase/frequency characteristics, and group delay.

  • Integrated Analysis Tools: Out of the box, it features native support for Limit Line testing (Pass/Fail), Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR), and interactive Smith Charts.

  • Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR): Built-in TDR tools allow for time-domain analysis to rapidly locate physical defects, impedance mismatches, and trace signal integrity along high-speed interconnects.

  • Advanced Fixture De-Embedding: Includes algorithmic Fixture Removal and De-embedding features to digitally cancel out the phase and insertion loss errors added by cables, test fixtures, and adapters, isolating the true S-parameters of the Device Under Test (DUT).

  • Expanded Interface Connectivity: Equipped with standard USB Host, USB Device, LAN, and HDMI (for projecting onto external laboratory monitors). Notably, the DNA6000 series exclusively includes a legacy GPIB interface to accommodate complex or older automated test system (ATE) setups.
